Bling bling restored to its sparkling glory! 🤩😘🥰
January 31, 2022 ~ I went to see some friends last Saturday night and happened to meet a friend I'd known from several years ago. She knew from the host that I would be attending the meet up so she came in with some things which she had bought from me before. A pair of Bling bling Crystal AB earrings !
From dirty / blurry crystals with missing ear hook due to wear n tear, I was surprised she was able to keep them with her through the years. She asked if I could repair it somehow and replace the missing earhook together with another pair of broken earrings she had bought overseas. I gladly accepted her request and took them home with me after our party.
Today, it took me a few minutes to first clean / wash the crystal earrings to get rid of the sticking dust. Dried them in the sun for a while before I started fixing it. I even made it longer as she preffered the lenght a bit longer than before. The crystals began sparkling after I had washed and dried them. Now fully cleaned, repaired & redesigned, the sparkling pair is now looking totally brand new and ready to party again!

I had added 2 big bicone crystals on top of the previous ball and the new vermeil hooks made it look even classier than ever. She had decided to make it longer coz she wanted more lenght to it. I also had added a new pair of Vermeil hooks with a different design to replace the old ones wherein 1 piece was lost somewhere and she couldn't find it.
Time for my friend to wear this bling bling again . Party time ! 😁

The pair of earrings ( pictured below ) which she had bought overseas during one of her vacations got some missing seed beads after breaking off at the tip of the design connecting to the hooks. Since I don't have the exact seed bead in my stash, I decided to dismantle the other earring to get a few pieces to balance them. With the aid of my size 12 needle and fireline, I weaved through the design to strenghten it and fix the part connecting to the hooks. Finally, the pair was fixed as well and ready to flaunt. Such a relief to see them wearable again ...😍😍😍
Gentle reminder to not throw away your favorite broken jewelries . Handmade beaded items can always be redesigned and fixed. Trust me on this !

What is a Tensha Bead Actually ?
These are individually made rare handcrafted beauties which features an intricate decorative pattern of flowers, swirling feathers or other organic nature.
Tensha in Japanese means transfer. Each bead is individually made by transferring patterns onto durable and lightweight acrylic beads.
These are made and imported solely from Japan with many designs ranging from the most popular floral ones to kimono patterns and swirls. They come in different shapes and sizes such as teardrop, oval and round.
Japanese Tensha beads contain designs that are imprinted perfectly and fully around the bead. Each bead is made individually by hand.

The designs seen on each Tensha bead are actually housed within the bead - this makes the bead extremely durable and resistant to the scratches of wear and tear. The word Tensha means to transfer. January 15, 2022 ~ Don't be mistaken and confused of my birthdate which was January 14th. I actually celebrated Tonight and yesterday . Imagine 2 celebrations : Lunch at home where I cooked Osso Buco to satisfy my cravings coz Italian restaurants these days are too lazy to make such dish and Dinner in a seafood restaurant tonight to fullfill my cravings for crab and oysters. Wooaahhh such an appetite !
I was so overwhelmed by the personal calls from my children who were all overseas, greetine that poured in on social media was endless as well as the special gifts I had received so far from family and friends. I was so lucky and blessed.

So glad they all made it despite the Covid restriction for the number of people allowed per table.

January 6, 2022 ~ My 1st ever Fine Dining at KOMA Singapore was such an experience last night with 4 working ladies who dragged me somehow managed to drag me in there. I was the only one not working for any company and on the other hand the one so eager to come along. The ladies started booking the place patiently last December for my advance B-day party in January. Better to book early coz the place is always fully booked. Thanks for the booking efforts ladies. 😘
So last night is at the time I can experience the place at long last . I came in roaring like a Tiger with my Tiger themed Mask which didn't stop me from talking and making noise upon entry. I looked like a tiger in a cage ! Wa ha ha ... Imagine me as :

I was so excited to see and experience the place which I only see in pictures via instagram.
The architecture seemed so picture grabbing in social media that I wanted to be in there to see the place personally. I heard from other friends who had been there that the food is very good , the service staff mostly filipinos but to expect that such place comes with a hefty price. which was very true upon seeing the bill after dinner. But oh well, what would you expect with a 5 star area . Even just mentioning Marina Bay Sands you would immediately know what the pricing would be like ... eeehheeerrrmmmmm 😳😏🙈

I only found out about the price when my friends started splitting the bill equally among among us. They were the ones who ordered it not me and most of the other stuffs served but ok, I ate what I like from this platter and so I am happy to share the bill. Hmmmm, pricey for a bunch of sushis and few pieces of oysters and prawns. My verdict Never again to order such platter ... and have my own bill.
I was happy with my Tempura of 3 pieces for a starter costing $18++ tho. I enjoyed eating all of it coz I love prawns . Yummmyyy ... LOL !

I was wearing my Red & Brown Tiger Eye Beaded Bracelet to match my outfit last night. Tigers Eye is one of my favorite stones aside from Labradorite & Garnet. I came to know about this powerful stone when I met someone wearing them in the 1990's . They were so beautiful on the wrist that I kept looking at them and told myself that 1 day I would have some for myself as well.

In the end, I would say that this place really looked great all in all and very intagrammable in all corners . But for the faint hearted, please do check the menu first to avoid having a shock when its time to pay your bill.

Dec 30, 2021 ~ Yesterday I went to Hong kah North Community Club in Bukit Batok for my scheduled Covid 19 Booster Shot. As usual I went driving to the said venue all by myself .
I was not expecting a huge crowd coz it's a weekday when people were normally mostly at work during this time around 1:30pm. Happy to see that the place was not crowded at all . Thus, I went in earlier than my time slot. Early to go in, means early to leave too . 😉😉😉.
I didn't feel any pain at all during the first few hours but I felt a bit tired and I fell asleep for about 3 hours the moment I reached home. I woke up around 6pm and was awake during the night . I had been watching tv all night thinking I would be ok without much pain & any side effects overnight .
Unfortunately, Today my arm where the injection was became stiff, hard as stone and very swollen. Geeezzzz, it was annoyingly painful that I had to put a warm beanbag on it to lessen the swelling several times. I even felt so tired all day that I was laying down on the sofa like a dead log. I had even started getting sick late at night too. No high fever though but I felt so so tired and my body was aching all over . Even my feet were getting cold that I had to massage them both with oil to heat them up and then wear socks. Fever had started to set in !
Oh My God ! 😩😪😭

I had the Moderna Booster shot and the 2 vaxx before this booster were also from Moderna. I didn't want to shift into any other coz my body had already adapted to this brand. So, why do I need to look and change into something else ? I had experienced a bad case of Anaphylaxis before so I am very sensitive to certain type of drugs / meds. I cannot in fact take in any NSAIDs medication at all.
What Are NSAIDs?
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs ( pronounced en-saids ), are the most prescribed medications for treating conditions such as arthritis. Most people are familiar with over-the-countern nonprescription NSAIDs, such as Aspirins and Ibuprofen.
Being sensitive to certain drugs, I am a person who needed to watch out for everything. I need to be very careful with meds I take into my body. 1 mistake could be fatal. so better be careful than sorry without coming back ! Know what I mean ?
Anyways, Now I need to rest my aching arm and find some much needed sleep.
Now I won't worry much about being sick with covid19 coz I now had my booster. Rest assured that I am somehow protected once the virus decides to come my way, Knock on wood that it changes its course and go somewhere else tho..
