Sept 25, 2022 ~ Busy ... busy.... as usual. My life is never boring and dull at this stage. I would say it's kind of challenging and full of activities to do even
though my kids were all now grown ups and had left me to pursue their own lives
The only good part is now I can do my stuffs at my own pace and time without anyone dictating anything or without a deadline for me to think about or anybody to consider rather than myself and my 2 doggos at home of course.
I have lesser stress nowadays which is somehow good in minimizing my Hypertension which attacks from time to time when I am pissed and annoyed by something in my surroundings. My trigger is not the food I eat but by what is moving around me like annoying people, or idiots! you know what I mean ? I can't stand this kind of humans ... they suck the life out of me truly. 😡😠😁
Anyways, 2 more days before the opening of my much awaited trade fair at the Singapore Expo on 27th Sept.. Do you know What I do Inorder to not excite myself too much and get too distracted by the thoughts of it ? I made myself busy by making wirewrapped earrings. Been a while now since I made these kind of dangling earrings. Wirewrapping causes tension on my shoulders and neck when I try to tighten or pull the wires with my pliers. My neck gets stiff and I suffer from back aches after a while. specially my upper right side suffers coz I am right handed. So I really prefer to create my handmade jewelries by the use of thread and needles to lessen the tension. I enjoy beadweaving and doing peyote / rope stitches rather than wiring. But I am always up for a challenge and never give up on something so easily so I still do the wirewrapping . I am so stubborn I know... LOL !
Below are some of my latest finished earrings I had already posted on :
👉Instagram 👈
& now available for sale in my 👉 ETSY 👈 Shop as well. They consist of pressed glass leaf beads, Swarovski Pearls/ Crystals, Drop Glass beads , artistic beading wires with stainless Steel chains.
I had been sorting out and organizing my bead boxes the last couple of days and today I found some pairs of beads like this pair of Blue Bell Flowers.
This earrings is the only pair I could make out of this pair of beads so it's a OOAK ! ( One Of A Kind )
It has Czech glass leaf & flower beads, Swarovski Pearls , Bicones & Crystals with Silver tone findings& leverback hooks. I can replace the hooks with Sterling Silver ( Additional fee of $2 )
Now I made a Pinky version somehow similar to the Blue Bell cascading cluster earrings previously but the drop point is a leaf instead of a Bell Flower.
This earrings look so dainty and elegant. Another OOAK ! ( One Of A Kind )
It has Czech glass leaf & flower beads, Swarovski Pearls & round Crystals with Silver tone findings& leverback hooks. I can replace the hooks with Sterling Silver ( Additional fee of $2 )
Last but not the least , here comes a Purple version somehow similar to the Pinky cascading cluster earrings with the drop point being a leaf as well.
This earrings look so dainty and sweet. Another OOAK ! ( One Of A Kind )
It has Czech glass leaves & flower beads, Swarovski Pearls & round Crystals with Silver tone findings& leverback hooks. I can replace the hooks with Sterling Silver ( Additional fee of $2 )
It won't get duplicated and looking for its rightful owner right now ...

September 21, 2022 ~ Wow, I can't believe how fast time really goes . The last week of September is now fast approaching. What's in store for my come and go schedule this month ? Any new activities to give some time and attention out there before the month is finally over ? Well guess what... I am so excited . I am eagerly looking forward to the JGW ( Jewelry & Gems World Singapore 2022 ) happening soon in the Lion City ( Singapore ).
I got my Invitation and had already printed my Entry Voucher for this upcoming trade fair so I am well so ready to go go goooo... YESSSS!!!🤩🤩🤩
Yup, the most awaited Gems & Jewellery event & the world's biggest B2B buying trade show normally being held in Hongkong every year is going to be temporarily relocated in Singapore this time which allows Quarantine -free entry for all fully vaccinated arrivals. Hongkong is still not ready to allow big events and inflow of overseas attendees due to Covid19., too bad isn't it ?
People had been wondering what is meant by B2B 😏😶😐
when I first encountered the initial B2b I was indeed wondering what does it mean .
Business-to-business (B2B), also called B-to-B, is a form of transaction between businesses, such as one involving a manufacturer and wholesaler, or a wholesaler and a retailer. Business-to-business refers to business that is conducted between companies, rather than between a company and individual consumer. Business-to-business stands in contrast to business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-government (B2G) transactions.
The international Supplier community were expected to be out in full support at the venue with over 20+ pavilions powered by 1000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions expected to join. Wow this is going to be a very busy activity !
This event to be here in Singapore for the 1st time is a big hurraaayyyyy for me ...coz I don't need to buy any more flight tickets nor book an accommodation in HK just to see this event which I did for the last 2 years before the strike of Covid. Now, I just need to drive to the Singapore Expo to visit and have a look at all the gems and meet new suppliers .
Lesser travelling expenses & woes due to Covid 19. What a relief but still I miss Hongkong and its vibrant ambience though. I just hope I could be there again to visit anyways... I really hope that their Covid 19 travel restriction is going to ease out soon .
JGW Singapore trade fair is open to jewellery trade professionals aged 18 and above .
So get ready for this year's largest International B2B jewellery event in Asia.
Find your dream gemstones, discover new sources, connect and interact with suppliers face to face and be surrounded by people who share your passion for all things jewellery just like me !
I am crazy about gemstones and jewellery ... LOL !
😍😍😍
I would surely be going so I won't miss the opportunity to hold and admire the beautiful stones that would actually be on display there:
diamonds, emeralds, opals, rubies and many many more ...
👉So See You all There ! 👈

15th September 2022 ~ September had been a gloomy rainy month here in Singapore with some hot days in between. Regardless of the ever changing weather, it is a busy month for Birthday celebrations among family members and friends near and far.
My Facebook had been bombarded by notifications regarding people about to celebrate, presently celebrating as well as past birthday celebrants I had missed greeting. Oooopppsssie . Sorry guys , Happy Birthday month to everyone, there it goes, all greeted in past present and future ! 😂😇 💋
I was always out and about this month coz my youngest son was home visiting from The Hague . So , all my attention had been taken by my dearest. Family comes first you know. I was a busy cook, driver and nanny to him aside from the two furry 4-egged rascals at home who keeps on shedding all over the place.
New vacuum had been struggling to suck all their hairs and hope it doesn't break again.
Well anyways, the busy at home mom is back to being busy again and spending most of my time indoors to attend to my house chores. I just wonder when will I ever be totally chores free. the only time these days when I could do my beading is when I sit to rest for few mins for a much needed break. I could make simple easy to finish braceletsand try to finish them at night after 9pm when all dishes and things were done in the kitchen and garbage were all out in the bin. Truth is, I am a full time helper at home LOL! I just laugh it out coz I had been this way for so many years now and I got used to it. It's now my way of getting an exercise rather than sweating it all out in a gym costing thousands of dollars. I don't have that much to spend anyways. Lucky for those who can afford ... but I consider myself lucky as well in so many other ways.
Back to my beading again and time to sort out my dusty beads hanging in my bead room. I found these colorful beads I bought few months ago for some summer projects but never able to make any out of them .
I love the eye catching solid opaque colors of these glass beads. I guess not so late to do something out of them coz I was thinking to make some flowery style bracelets .
I got inspired by some of these flowers i found in my potted plants in the garden. Always happy to see my plants flowering ...😍⚘💮🎴⚘. So with flowers in mind, I made the following bracelets I had now listed in my Instagram .
Check them out :
These bracelets are pretty adjustable from 13cms up to 17cms with the help of an extension chain.
All metals used here are stainless steel including lobster clasp.
I hope to make more designs out of these beads but hope I will get more time during the day coz finishing most of them during the night makes me loose al ot of my sleeping time.
Fingers crossed that I can make more ...
wish wish wish... hope hope hope ... maybe Pray ?

Aug 13, 2022 ( 8:15 am ) ~ Good morning from the sunny side of Singapore ...
I am quite early to write a blog today coz I don't have much house chores to do since I had done most of them yesterday. So today is a more relaxing day I hope eventhough a bit of a sore throat is bugging me.
No worries it isn't Covid ( I hope🙏🙏🙏 )
Last week I was indoors most of the days coz I was beading for several mask cords in new colors. I need to re stock my depleting stock of mask cords to catch up with some orders from friends. Yep, time to socialize and see my friends soon. I had not seen them for several months after my Philippine Holidays. Bonding to catch up with experiences and latest news among friends and to play our famous game , Mahjong and to deliver their orders ! I just love to multi -task 😝😜😍
I guess I already forgot how to play coz I am just on the learning stage. My 1st year of being a beginner after starting to learn how to play it last February. I t was so fun and addicting ! 😆😄😃
Anyways, back to my beads again, mask cord is still an in demand item till now. People around Singapore are still wearing masks especially when in an indoor environment like offices and malls or in crowded areas. Most of the locals here prefer to wear mask even when walking outside for safety.
The mask cords I make are of versatile style. They are easy to use and interchangeable as well to suit your preferrence.
It can be used as the following :
1). A Mask chain to keep the masks hanging around your neck when not in use. that way you can keep it from falling on the floor or being left somewhere when you move.
2). An Eyeglass Cord to keep your spectacles or sunglasses with you at all times to avoid it from being left behind and breakage from accidents like glasses falling on the floor.
3). A Necklace itself to adorn your outfit.
The necklace can be worn as a long single strand necklace or double layered if you prefer.
It comes in a variety of colors :
Crystal White
Garnet Red
Lt / Dk Amethyst
Lt/ Dk Blue Sapphire
Peridot Green
Green Emerald
Yellow Citrine
Brown Topaz
Fuschia Pink
and many more ....
I would be listing them in my Etsy store soon ... or you can order from me online as well via instagram or through comments below.

Aug, 5, 2022 ~ Happy to be in my Beadroom this week after a month and a half long vacation . I had missed my craft table and I am already starting to forget where to find my bead parts and tools , It had been a while so I felt like a blind being in the dark trying to find my ways .
I had focused actually in making a necklace for my Bumblebee Jasper pendant I had wirewrapped during the pandemic.
Bumblebee Jasper (which is actually not a true Jasper) is a complex calcium carbonate mineral with inclusions of arsenic and manganese oxide.Contrary to its name, Bumblebee Jasper is not a true variety of Jasper because it does not contain quartz. Its vivid colours of yellow, orange, grey and black banding are composed of fibrous calcite, realgar, and pyrite.
Bumblebee Jasper is a great life talisman that is here to help keep you “buzzing” throughout your day, even when negative energies constantly come your way. This stone helps you maintain a positive and upbeat attitude through the daily stresses of life, while encouraging you to continue your own spiritual evolution.
Wow, a life's Talisman. I better finish the whole piece any time now. Eventhough I was undecided before whether to make a wirewrapped chain that would hang the focal Bumble Bee pendant or just a simple beaded rope to go with it. After some thinking and researching in the internet for something more challenging design to create, I decided to gather my 11/0 Toho seed beads and started weaving a Cubic Right Angle Weave ( CRAW ) .
The two most common ways to build CRAW: face-built and base-built. were 2 types of methods in doing CRAW , First is Face Built CRAW ( Face-built CRAW is when you add beads to form a new face from the previous face )
Base-built CRAW is when you add beads to form a new face from the base. ) Secondly, Base Built CRAW is not of much difference from the Face built
because the faces all have equal passes of thread – the face-built method has more thread on one of the faces of each cube. I had decided since I was going to make a longer chain, /
for longer ropes, base-building is a much better choice inorder to finish the rope sooner
The pendant on the other hand had been wirewrapped with non tarnish artistic beading wires # 20 Gauge complemented with Dark Bronze / Swarovski Pearls & Hematite Beads.
So there it goes. My finished Long double stranded CRAW necklace with Bumble Bee Jasper Pendant. It took me at least 3 days with breaks in between for my house chores and errands.
What do you say ?
