Beauty Of The Philippines !!!
January 7, 2019 ~ I was so happy I was able to come home and be in my motherland after the Christmas and New Year Celebrations .I really needed some time to get out of Singapore . I was so excited to see the other half of my family back here in the Philippines. I was very excited to travel around the islands again with my son and his girlfriend in tow. Destination this time was in Panglao in Bohol ! My 2nd time to come over to Bohol since my first tour here in Year 2013.Wow, 6 years seemed to had passed so quickly.

I visited the Shell Shop for some souvenir items and gone to the Bee Farm for some wonderful Sea views and sumptous lunch with my son and his gf. The beautiful deep blue sea infront of us during our lunch never failed to mesmerize me like as usual. I felt contented and lucky. Everytime I am by the sea or the beach I felt so blessed. For me , it is the most calming solution to my tired self and busy mind. Seemed like as if everything I had worried about had disappeared in an instant as soon as I saw the clear blue water and problems gone with the wind that was gently blowing unto my skin.

These Big Shells on display were now rare that viewers like me needed to be extra careful in handling them. I don't wanna break any of them of course.
The Bee Farm didn't only house the bees in there. They also have people who created beautiful handicrafts from weaving bags, mats, and lovely furnitures in a certain part . I felt so proud being a filipino everytime I see and encounter people like them. They inspired me a lot . Artistic, creative and patiently trying their best to support their families as well as themselves.

| These bags and baskets were so beautifully done ! We really did enjoy our trip to the Shell Shop and Bee farm and there were even more nice beautiful places around here aside from our nice comfortable hotel. The Astoria Bohol. |

Looking good ... on the 1st day of cleaning ...

Glad to see the home getting in order on the 1st day as I go about cleaning in every corner , vacumming the dog's fur and dust accumulated and scattered all over the place . Not a very easy task when we are talking about a 4 sforey house here but it's ok. I got used to doing the cleaning by myself around here anyways. Tough life huh ... but I got no choice. Got to do it coz noone else will.
My body ached like hell when I woke up this morning after 1 whole day of mopping the 2nd and 4th storey yesterday Concentrating inside hubby and daughter's room coz they are arriving from Belgium today. Better get all their rooms done ... replenish fresh bed linens... batnrooms clean and sparkling for them to feel home sweet home after their long flight.
I may have been busy for 2 straight days with cleaning but at least I was able to create my pearl project beforehand. Happy to see the outcome and got it immediately posted in my instagram ( taszel14 ) to give my followers something to look at . What can you say ?

June 2018 ~ Our Legazpi tour on 10th of June didn't just end at Daraga Church. We still went driving around the area till we saw more local sights and stuffs. The colorful part was seeing lots of local transport on the road Philippines was famous for .. The Jeepney !

Well, we didn't ride in any of these jeepneys this time coz we had our own rented car . But for sure we would ride one soon. We drove arond the area of Brgy. Buraguis in search for one of the the seaside places in Legazpi ... Puro Beach by Legazpi Boulevard.
We had a quick look around Puro Beach along Legazpi Boulevard and ventured into the sea to let the children touch the water and play a bit as we, the adults enjoyed the sea views around us. Very nice place surrounded by seaviews and far away mountains. Simply amazing sights... oh wow !
We were even greeted by local way of life around this area. A poor man's day spent carrying stuffs and travelling by foot. For how long would he be walking ? Most probably for several kilometers ... to an undisclosed destination .
The views so attractive that my brother couldn't resist himself from taking a selfie with the sea views as background. Go go go brother ... don't be shy. Lol ...
Legazpi rocks ! Hurrayyyyy ...
The highlights of this place is not only the awesome scenic views. We also happened to see a military training happening in the vicinity. It was like we were caught in the middle of persian gulf war. Tanks below and military helicopters circling above us and military personnels all over the place. I was like... what's going on here ?
Military people were willing enough to be in our pictures too. They even said hello to us ... woohoooo ! The kids were so excited to see the tanks and helicopters too. Was it so obvious we enjoyed the photoshoots with them ? 😁☺😄

When we headed for our village after the Legazpi tour, we had to stop by the side of the road to check on these seafoods for sale. I was drooling upon seeing these fresh seafoods. Oh wowowow !!! Yummy ... I bought the crabs uncle vendor was holding . Even some prawns too ! I was a happy shopper for sure .

Nothing can beat the fresh seafood in abundance in almost all parts of the Philippines. Bicol region is so blessed with natural resources. From now on, I would be eating most of these seafoods in the next few days too coz my mother's hometown we were heading to was by the seaside as well. Fish... sea shells, etc....
Can't wait to be there ... 😍😘😗
