March 3, 2021 ~ Sunny day, but getting awakened by a headache was not a good start for the day . Especially if I need to hurry going downstairs to prepare lunch for everyone and clear up the mess of the kitchen and the laundry area outside. took a while before I could go back upstairs to
Get my BP monitor to quickly start checking my blood levels just in case.
Sure enough , it wasn't looking good ... oh no ! 😢😢😢😢
I immediately took my 4 maintenance meds and rested for few mins.
After 30 mins I took a reading again and it finally came down to :
Wooaahh, still fluctuating but at least it had lowered down . It was for me already quite a relief . 🙏🙏🙏
I cannot be feeling sick coz today I needed to go out and do a bit of shopping for some acrylic paints and clothes. Time to spoil myself after being so busy beading nowadays. I still got a few beaded jewelry orders lined up to deliver this next few days and those will keep me very busy again.
Anyways, I left home mid afternoon and went to the city for my agenda and I was feelin ok though. Nevertheless, I got my Norgesic to calm my nerves in case my headache comes back with a vengeance. LOL !

My 1st destination was Artfriend located in Basement 1 of Plaza Singapura where I buy my irredescent acrylic paints and other creative art stuffs. I'm telling you it's an absolute paradise for artists like me. I felt like I was in a candy store ... Oh 😍😍😍la la la LOL!
I was happy and proud to reveal that I was able to control the urge to buy more paints. Just being in there was a torture for my eyes feasting non stop & wallet shaking in my pocket. 👀👀😄😅😅

Done shopping for the art stuffs so I headed to the clothing line in the upper floors afterwards. Checking here and there what would catch my eyes or better to say, what will fit me this time. Lucky for me I got a nice pair of pants and a simple flowery long summer dress .

My shopping was happily done but my day wasn't over yet. Shopping was simply just the beginning ! . A friend of mine called me while I was still in the mall and we were supposed to go to a spa for massage treatment. So we met up and went to a place called the G-Spa .
We were both able to pamper ourselves for about 2 hours at the jacuzzi , the massage room and especially in the foods/snacks room eating noodles, steam buns and God Knows what else was there that we ate much .😝😜😛😁.
Wow... what a good relaxation for my very stressed mind and body. I badly needed this and I got really spoiled today. I must do this again next month or whenever I get the chance. Life is short and we all should reward ourselves for the hardwork we do at home or somewhere else. If noone is ever gonna do it for us, we shouldn't wait for anyone but us to do it for ourselves ...
Life is good if we go for it ... isn't it ?

January 28, 2021 ~ Month of January is nearly ending but my jewelry orders are somehow still piling up. Especially the most intricate designs purchased before are now on great demand to be duplicated. I am so grateful that despite of the pandemic struggles I could still find ways to earn a bit somehow. 🙏🙏🙏

It fitted perfectly around the wrist and she was not willing to give it back . LOL !
Since another lady friend had seen the bracelet during the occassion, she also requested to have a somewhat similar piece in her measurement. Her wrist is bigger so I am now creating a size 8" bracelet for her instead of 7.5" and with a different clasp closure.
The main oval stones are Blue Goldstone surrounded by Toho glass seed beads.

January 11, 2021 ~ Another busy day spent in my beadroom overlooking the sunset right outside my window . So beautiful is what I could whisper to myself as I look at the wonderful view. lucky to have seen such magnificent moment that would be gone so quickly.
Again , hours and hours of beading was rewarded by such moment before the night falls. Nowadays I had been catchin up on orders of Swarovski Spiral Style Bracelets and necklaces. A friend had ordered over 25pcs of such beaded spirals in different colors for gift giving to her rotary members. No exact colors is allowed to make sure each person receives a unique color as compared to the others. Wow, meaning everyone will be unique then.
I admire my friend for such generosity to her rotary members...
She has a good heart ...💓💖💓
Each bracelet is created with 4mm Swarovski Pearls & 4mm Bicone Crystal elements with 11/0 Toho Seed Beads. Each piece is polished and carefully placed in respective cushioned boxes with see -thru covers. Of course I always have to consider a nice packaging and proper presentation as always . It's a great way of promoting my jewelries and keep my buyers happy aside from my offered product warranty.

I also had started doing some orders before the final phasing out of Copper Colored Pearls by Swarovski. 3 of my favorite Pearls ( Dark Purple, Copper and Light Green Pearls ) are all going to be discontinued soon so I am not happy aboutt it. Why ? These 3 pearls had been widely used in my designs.

Haizzz.....it already makes me sad that some of the good colored pearls would be gone but now I am getting even more devastated after reading the newsletter regarding Swarovski. . 😖😓😭
Oh well, what to do ? I better cheer myself up and move on to beading ... I m sure there would be options and answers to the upcoming dooming supply of Swarovski beads.
My last few strands of Copper pearls would be finished soon after fulfilling these orders so no more of these bracelets & necklaces would be available for creation in these pearl color ever again. That sucks ...
Lucky I have other color options and can use them for variety with the same beading style / design.
There are so many types of Swarovski beads and elements introduced to the market .Although sometimes I guess I need to catch up on new trends by using those new parts I still also prefer to stay using the previous ones and other substitutes. oh well, different tastes and preferrences always affect my designs anyways so I will just go with the flow ... 😝😚
Beading is my Passion ... old or new materials , Swarovski or not , I will surely find a way to design many things anyways.

Dec 11, 2020 ~ It had been a mix of sunny and rainy weather the last few days in Singapore . Happy I was finally able to bathe my doggies and dty them unnder the sun as they lay on the garden grass. Nice to see them both frolicking in the sun and smelling good as well. Spoiled doggos . Lol !
The garden I would say is looking better and more green these days after the rain visits every now and then. Glad I had less work to do at home by not watering the grass every day. What I miss is the fact that lesser birds since the big tree by the pool had been removed coz it had grown way too high and over the maximum height for in a residential area. . Now the hundreds and flocks of birds coming nestng in that tree had permanently dissappeared. Such a Sad story ...
I am an animal lover . I love to see the garden being visited by different species of animals. Different types of birds had wandered around the house and I had interacted with some regular birds behind the lkitchen everyday for the last 1 -1/2 year. The experuence was awesome to be surrounded by these wild creatures.
My 2 donesticated dogs .. Gabby & Baby Koda chase the animals away everyday but my presence keep them coming back. Talkin about the power of food... lol !
The garden is always full of life because of the animals and I am happy to see them all the time. Even from my beadroom window I can see the birds flying around while the dogs go nuts trying to catch any of them. Goodluck doggies... birds were too smart for you weren't they ? 😅🤣😂
Being inspired is a way to keep me beading. Being creative us a a by product if a gappy contented lufe too. Seeing the animals in action all around me makes me feel happy and just right there with them is where my heart is ...

Dec. 1, 2020 ~ I am kind of tired after my 1st online sale on Facebook followed by half an hour of exposure on Instagram to try my luck but both venues had been so very quiet.
I guess the impact of the pandemic had hit everyone that hard unabling majority of people to spend any cent on jewelry shopping. Oh well, this scenrio made me so dissappointed and sad but I am still hopeful to rack up some sales these coming days. Fingers crossed .
Over the last couple of months I had been sick, I got Gastritis, then Major operation for the removal of my Gall bladder in early November but I had now recovered despite of the pain and all. Lucky me and I am thankful to myself for being strong in handling all the physical , emotional , mental and environmental stress brought by people near and far. lucky for me to have my 2 loving therapeutic dogs by myside ( Koda & Gabby) and not to forget my favorite birds " Heart Tail " and her partner who visited me everyday coz I spoil them with food ... ssshhhhhh😅😆😄.. don't tell anybody LOL!
These 2 loyal companions of mine never fail to brighten up my gloomy days.
I love my doggies to the moon and back...
My beadroom aa& Bedroom on the other hand are my constant sources of peace when I needed to be quiet and just on my own. My stones , my crystals scattered alll around, my beads and the rest of my hoarded art stuffs kept me busy and away from distractions surrounding me.
They maybe causing me a fortune but they gave me heaps of happiness and tranquility.
For me they are priceless for being one of my major sources of energy and healing.
Life is a struggle these days but I had found my own world where I don't need to ask for anything else.
