April 22, 2016 ~ How many of you are living overseas and still majority of your siblings and or family members are in your home country ? I do have a lot of siblings and since I live overseas away from them, I hardly see them unless I go home to the Philippines on holidays for at least twice in a year. I kind of miss my family of course and speaking about sisters , I got a lot to miss ! I have 7 sisters all in all. I hope I didn't miss anyone. Did I ? LOL!
Fortunately, out of the blue, one of them, Wendy came to visit Singapore with her husband Joseph for a 2 nights stay. It was kind of short but at least I was able to accompany them and show some places famous here in Singapore. Wendy wanted to see the Universal Studios in Sentosa Island so I took them there after meeting them at Marriot Hotel in Orchard Rd.
Lucky we were able to take some photos courtesy of our designated photographer ... her husband Joseph who is kind of camera conscious . Yep... he didn't want to have any pics of him taken so he took ours instead , hmmmm... . I won't elaborate why, ha ha .... At least Wendy and I got some much needed pictures together although most of the shots are more focused on the background not on us.
Wasn't it so obvious ? Wa ha ha ha.... Do you see me and my sister ? I blended with the flowers and I looked like a leaf ! This was a funny shot for us!
Anyways, we walked a bit here and there till we ended up by the beach side where we ran for cover due to the sudden strong downpour of rain. Yes.. we were like wet chickens looking for cover and ended up in the Bikini Bar for some well needed Virgin Colada for me and softdrinks for them. We were the non alcoholic type obviously.
We waited till the rain stopped and we headed to Gardens By The Bay beside the Marina Bay Sands. We arrived at the Flower Dome and viewed the Tulipmania Floral Display .

The Tulips were all so lovely to look at . Magnificent array of colors !
We couldn't easily leave the sight of it but we need to move on to the next place to visit. We got to see the Super Tree Grove and OCBC Skyway just nearby !!!

Just a bit of walk in this humid weather and up we went to the Skyway via the lift provided of course . No stairs for an old lady like me please ! Up there, we started taking funny pics here and there while our designated photographer was busy talking on his phone.

Oh well... sightseeing was done. Time to head back home and for them back to check in to their 2nd booked hotel . I tried to convince them to go on a ladies night with me but they declined saying they were now both very tired and need to do a few things regarding work once they're back in their room. Oh well, ok. but that didn't stop me from going out and meeting my friends for a ladies' night afterwards . I was also very tired of driving, walking, and being tour guide all day but I need to go party , heyyyy ...No stopping me. I'am a true party animal ... is that bad ? It's my way of relieving my stress ... really .

See what we do ? we were crazy but it was fun ... this is life here in Singapore. Live each day as if it is your last ... you only live once !

March 31, 2016 ~ Hi everyone. I'm here again to wrap up the things I had done for the month of March 2016. I won't be telling all or else I would surely run out of space here just for posting stories and pics altogether. I would just grab bits and pieces from here and there which I'm sure would already entertain you as you read along.
First of all, I would like to thank my friends who had been part of my inspirations and laughters all month long. Some of them are working full time outside home , others do part time jobs like I do from time to time when I get the chance, some were full time moms unable to do any work with pay and some do nothing but go out, meet friends, socialize and party ( like I do too LOL! )
Anyways, without my dear circle of friends, I would of course be just staying home , beading all day long until I stop due to the tightness on my legs,.. water retention is such a nasty condition isn't it... haiiizzzz how I hate when it happens. Or... I will also be socializing with Gabby and Koda of course as an option. How can I ignore these cuties wagging their tails the moment they hear me coming ? My heart can never say no to them ... damn!

These 2 are my beloved adopted "Singapore Specials" aka ~ Mongrels. How they keep me busy everyday and how they manage to make me move here and there is really what makes the local people call them Singapore Specials. Their breed is special in their naughty unique ways ... you must try to adopt them to see what I'm talking about. Ha ha ...
My friends on the other hand are also unique in their own ways. Some were so mesmerized by my jewelries that they love to buy and wear them. So I make sure what they get from me are only pieces and won't be copied anymore. I want them to be a proud wearer of my one and only creation.

Oh well, life is short not to enjoy every moment of it with the people around you. Right ? So why stay home all the time when we can enjoy the company of friends and be merry sometimes ?
In short, my month of March was spent nicely either alone or with somebody. No space for dull moments .They never stop from calling me on whatsapp, Messenger and Viber anyways LOL!
I was also happy for the big celebration of my youngest son's birthday who just turned 17 yrs. old this month.
Happy Belated Birthday to my darling Tweetie baby ( that's how I call him until now and he starts complaining about being called baby, ooopppsssss ! )
He's now 17y/o and not a baby I used to carry anymore. Haiizzzz... time flies so fast now....
My baby is now a tall darling I could hardly reach to kiss on his cheeks ! Oh well ... but I can still manage to kiss him when he's asleep ... sneaky mommy .. then get shoved away as he shouts, Mommy ... go away ! Uh-oh .LOL!
I hope all of you out there had a good month of March too like I did. Of course not all days were fun, There were bad times too for sure . But hey ... Forget the bad ones and carry all the happy memories to the next upcoming month of April which is just a few hours away.
You know what ?
It's never too late to enjoy life ... c'mon... go out there and see the joys of being alive !
Look around you...
Life is beautiful , colorful and doesn't come in just black & white.... and what's even more interesting ...
it comes with lots of meaning too!
So let's all enjoy Life while we can ...why not ?

March 1, 2016 ~ Hooohaaaaa .... I am so busy on this 1st day of March. I had been rummaging through my drawers and boxes of beads all day and discovering my neglected materials ... almost forgotten hidden in their respective places ! Oooppsssssss
Then I get excited ... starting to bead .. mix and matching the colors and noticing my beadng table getting cluttered as I create . Oh well, a scene like this happens all the time when I'm very occuppied with beading . So typical .See what it looks like having a work table like this below after few hours of beading ?
I try to minimize the mess but .. unfortunately, the more I add materials to my work, the more beads and tools get scattered everywhere .So never mind... I'll just clear it up once I'm done with my mission. Yes... I just said " MISSION " and not an impossible one eventhough I have a deadline !. LOL!
What's my mission ? Ok, for sponsorship purposes, I need to create at least 8 sets of Necklace + Earrings for minor prizes and 5 sets for the Major Prizes in the upcoming " THE RAMPSTAR QUEEN 2016 GRAND FINALS " this coming Sunday. Check out their Facebook page here !
So far, I had already created the 8 minor prizes and had nicely tagged them in red boxes with my logo of course. For the Major ones, I had created 2 sets so far ... so 3 more sets to be done before Sunday comes. I wanted to create designs in different categories so each of the 5 mahor winners will receive a set different from the others. No jewelry set would be exactly the same.

So I better move around ... no choice ! Moving around for me includes partying and attending these busy events... Ha ha. I got good reasons to go out haven't I ?
Truthfully, I'm very excited to be part of this event for the 1st time. My dear friend Ms. Pamela Wildheart Pilapil had organized it and I'm more than grateful to support her and my fellow Filipinos joining the event.
